Roos Arts is pleased to present, "Enclosure", a group exhibition curated by artist Janaina Tschäpe. "Enclosure" presents the works of artists exploring the theme of exposure and confinement in different mediums, offering perspectives into ways we create the laws we wish to break. Whether the works reveal a hyper-consciousness of the physical body or the art's historical confinements, the show reflects the tension and vulnerability of our body and artistic practice.

Janaina has been in conversation with the selected artists for years now except for the younger artists, Michelle Leedy and Fernanda Feher. It is not so obvious how the selected works relate to each other but they are linked by how it draws and holds the viewer in the enclosed space. For Janaina, the enclosed space is where fragility and vulnerability is revealed.

Participating artists are Rosane Chamecki/Andrea Lerner, James Hyde, Barney Kulok, Michelle Leedy, Vik Muniz and Coke Wisdom O'Neal.

We are also pleased to present a selection of works by Fernanda Feher in our Flat Files Project Space. Naive and sensual aesthetic narratives, these works combine to make a quirky and personalized storybook.
